2024 Salary: $85,888 Firefighter Paramedic IV
$70,731 Firefighter EMT IV

Status: FLSA, Full-Time Non-Exempt, FPPA
Union Status: Union; covered under Collective Bargaining Agreement

Current Paramedic Certification (if you currently hold this certificate)
Position Qualifications:
All candidates must meet all of the following minimum requirements by the application deadline to be considered for the position:
Education/Experience:
· Associate degree from an accredited college or university is highly desirable
· High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Licensing/Certification Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Must have a valid Driver’s License
· Must be 18 years of age
· Completed NTN FireTEAM test by the application deadline
· EMT-B preferred
· Current CPAT attach it to your application (dates and times are limited, register for your CPAT immediately)
Preferred Certifications:
· State of Colorado Division of Fire Safety Firefighter I certification
· State of Colorado Division of Fire Safety Hazardous Material Operations certification
· EMT-B
· BLS

· National Testing Network – FireTEAM exam

Testing and Assessments
All applicants will be required to successfully complete a battery of assessments to determine suitability for the position they are applying for.
At a minimum, the candidate will be subjected to the following assessments:
· Oral board with employees of the district
· Assessment Center
· Interview with the Chief of the District
Candidates who are made a conditional offer will be required to successfully pass the following:
· Integrity Interview, Background Investigation, and psychological assessment
· Pre-employment physical with Drug Screening to include VO2 Max
· Front Range Fire Consortium (FRFC) Academy and test
· EMT Academy
